We’re excited to announce the upcoming release of Microsoft Dragon® Copilot, a major update designed to enhance both physician and nursing workflows.

This release introduces new features, expanded capabilities, and performance improvements that make documentation faster, more intuitive, and more aligned with real clinical workflows.

What’s new in Dragon Copilot 3.6 (Physician Experience)
New clinical letter generation
- Automatically create: consultation summaries/letters to GPs, patient letters, referral letters
- Configure preferences in settings or the Dragon Copilot library
- Reduce manual documentation and streamline communication
Multilingual clinical note generation
- Capture conversations in 58 spoken languages
- Generate specialty-specific clinical notes in English
- Transcripts remain in the original language
- Speaker separation supported in: English and Spanish (U.S.), English (Canada and U.K.)
Built for real clinical workflows
Extended ambient recording time
- Record up to 120 minutes per encounter (previously 75 minutes)
- Get a reminder when 30 minutes remain
- Automatic stop at session limit
Launch from Epic with Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Open Dragon Copilot directly from Epic
- No additional login required
- Faster access with a seamless EHR experience
More control, more flexibility
Expanded full text control
- Enhanced editing and navigation in: Microsoft Word (M365 and non-M365) and Outlook (non-M365)
- Brings the full Dragon Medical One experience into more tools
